Re: UTTARAKHAND DISASTER: DON'T GIVE ANY AID TO THE CRIMINAL AND CROOK UPA GOVERNMENT IN INDIA.
I am writing this e-mail in my capacity as a British tax and rate payer, and consider myself well-aware with the happenings in the world, especially in India.
You must be well aware by now that a mega-disaster has taken place in UttaraKhand State in India, where in the last two weeks more than ten thousand people have died, scores of people have been injured and widespread destruction of unimaginable scale has taken place.
This was a man-made disaster due to the most reckless actions by the Indian politicians with complete disregard to nature, and not following the very basic rules JUST FOR THE SAKE OF INDIAN POLITICIANS' LUST AND GREED IN ALLOWING DEFORESTATION AND MOST RECKLESS CONSTRUCTIONS & TUNNELING IN THE VULNERABLE MOUNTAIN AREAS.
I would earnestly request you, please do not give a single penny to the Indian Govt or Indian Govt supported organizations as aid for U/Khand as the current UPA Government is one of the most corrupt and criminal Governments in the world.
I hope, you will recollect THE LOOT THAT TOOK PLACE IN ORGANIZING THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES JUST OVER A YEAR AGO. THERE IS A GOEBBELS LIKE CHARACTER named Manish Tiwari, the INFORMATION MINISTER OF INDIA. HIS MAIN JOB IS TO MISLEAD THE WORLD AND RUTHLESSLY CRUSH THE OPPOSITION.
I can say with confidence that 75% of the aid will be looted by the Indian politicians, police and the bureaucrats, if they get hold of the foreign aid.
Any British Aid towards this disaster should be closely monitored and fully controlled by the British Government through agencies like VSO, Oxfam and Red Cross and so on, and only where the Indian Government officials and their servants can be kept away at an arm's length.
