Hindus and Sikhs will continue to pay the price for the sins of the Mahatma (Gandhi) who allowed India to be divided. The sin is that Gandhi agreed to a separate country, Pakistan for Muslims but no separate country for Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, etc. So, Muslims got their own Pakistan and also, if they chose, continue to live in India with full rights --actually preferential rights over Hindus. Gandhi-Nehru and the Congress party, that ruled India, fooled Hindus by declaring India to be Secular state with their definition of Secular being government passed civil laws applicable to Hindus (Hindu Code bills) but none to Muslims who can continue to live under their Shariah laws. India can be secular only with uniform civil laws that apply to all Indian citizens regardless of their faith.
The most unfortunate part of this is that many Hindus supported this injustice, and many in India and the Hindu diasporas continue to support this fake-secularism.
