Gandhi had declared, "INDIA WILL BE CUT UPON MY DEAD BODY!"
But when India was cut and fragmented in 1947 Gandhi simply went silent. He did not apologise to his nation, "I have FAILED to honour my word. I have failed to keep India united. I have betrayed my country and her people."
