This e-mail made me feel like crying. Not that it is negative or it overlooks the good man Modi at the helm but because it is the TRUTH- and TRUTH after 70 years since PARTITION!
What good is the PALACE built on sewage? What good is INDEPENDENCE if citizens are FRUSTRATED by baboos (civil service) at every step? What good is your rank, status or education if a baboo says, "Write your address and have it verified and certified by a Magistrate and then come back!"?
What good is the North Bloc or South Bloc if the baboo says to you, after FIVE reminders, "We cannot find your file. Please submit all the facts of the case and re-write your petition all over AGAIN!"
What good is your ambition as an NRI to go back and build a factory, establish a business or construct a house if the official who provides electric connection demands BRIBE, the one who has to give telephone connection expects BRIBE and the guy who has to lay a drain to supply water also demands BRIBE to do the job?
What good is your age, wealth, education and status if a policeman addresses you as "OAY!" instead of "Sir" as in England? What fun is it to travel by train if the walls of railway station are coloured in beetle leaf spit? And what joy of eating salad or drinking water if one is to get loose stomach or even Hepatitis B?

To get the nation in order it is either EDUCATION or STICK. Since EDUCATION will produce educated electorate who will reject DYNASTIC system, it is NOT to be provided. So STICK is cheap and very EFFECTIVE. The result is that citizens of free Bharat are driven by STICK or DANDAA.
Not one chief minister ever said, "My subjects will have life style matching that to be seen in France or UK within five years!"
So one can draw the conclusion that nothing can move the dead horse however much one FLOGS it.
