WHY DID PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU CALL THE HINDUS "SHEEP" AND THE SIKHS "DONKEYS"?
SOMEONE ASKED HIM TO INSIST ON REFERENDUM BEFORE AGREEING TO PARTITION OF INDIA IN 1947. HE SAID, "WHO WOULD BOTHER TO CONSULT THE SHEEP AND THE DONKEYS?"
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THE HINDUS ADORE AND PRAISE NONE MORE THAN NEHRU. EVEN A UNIVERSITY IS NAMED AFTER HIM IN NEW DELHI.
After his death the HINDU NATION went for his daughter, a secret convert to Islam and then his grandson Rajiv, notorious for his BOFORS' COMMISSIONS, and now an Italian born female imported by Rajiv is seen guiding the prime minister of Hindusthan. 1. Something forced me to read this Article from Dawn you sent it.
2. Being from Indus Basin, there are many points I can identify with and some answers I still seek, in my relentless quest for The Truth/ La Variete which is not static but keeps on expanding. I am told Guru Nanak was Bedi by cast. Born in Bhoi Di Talwandi now known as Nanakana Sahib which surname I have heard. My maternal side were follower then but after Punjab Militancy the inclination has decreased. It appears Guru Nanak was from West Punjab.
3. Mr MJ Akbar during Q&A in RT organised by India Foundation by on 25th April at IIC/Annexe, responded that----Poverty is created by Man and God created Religion.
The “Tatt” or “Nichorh” of what Guru Nanak quest for truth opens after his pilgrimage to MECCA has a different perspective on religion and poverty.

Guru Nanak, in his never-ending search of truth, visited the holy city of Mecca. While returning home through Iraq, Khurasan and Afghanistan, he saw Babar’s military preparations to invade India and predicted the end of Lodhi rule.
