A SHOCKED TOURIST IN DELHI WRITES,\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Would someone please pinch me! Am I in Bharat or in Al-Mamlaka al-Arabiya as-Saudiya!" \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ I am currently visiting New Delhi. While passing through the city, I am baffled to see so, so many of the prominent buildings, eemarats, streets and roads bearing Islamic names and many named after the Mughal conquerors of India who subjugated Indians for centuries. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Here is a sampling, (there are thousands more like these):\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Akbar Road, Asaf Ali Road, Aurangzeb Road, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Safdarjung, Maulana Azad Road, Faiz Road, Shajehan Road, Tughlaq Road, etc. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Mind boggling indeed to see sights that make me wonder if I have accidentally landed in Al-Mamlaka al-Arabiya as-Saudiya!\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ ========================= 000000000
