SIKHS URGED TO SHOW SOLIDARITY WITH THE GRIEVING RUSSIANS.

........HUNDREDS OF LITTLE SOULS EXTINGUISHED BY SAVAGES

Dear Sikhs of the world,

Gur Fateh.

We all know what happened in Russia when hundreds of children at a school were held hostage, kept without food and water for two days, and then KILLED in cold blood.

Those innocent children were the “ROOP OF AKAL PURKH” and just like our own children. They became victims of religious bigotry and fanaticism as we were in 1947 and 1984.

Please TELL THE WORLD if there was a Resolution passed at ANY Gurdwara to express condolences over the tragic massacre of the school children in Bislan, Northern Ossetia in Russia, and to express sympathy with the bereaved families and solidarity with the grieving Russian nation.

There are parallels to this tragedy in our Sikh history when Mir Mannu gave orders to his soldiers to kill all the Sikhs, even small babies in the laps of mothers, and later, much later, across Rawalpindi District in March 1947 when Sikh families were brutally massacred in their thousands.

Ours is a religion of universal love, and as a token of that love we need to reflect on the great human tragedy that struck the small town in Russia on September 1.

Copies of such Resolutions should be sent to the Russian embassies in your countries. The world ought to know of our existence on earth. The world ought to know that we are not HINDU who dare not recall PARTITION OF INDIA in 1947 not set up a Memorial the MILLION dead.

We appeal to the Sikh sangats, as well as to SGPC, to send representatives to the town in Russia to convey our sympathy to the Mayor and the citizens direct.

We need to establish a permanent link with that town, possibly in the shape of a gurdwara. On its walls there ought to be seen the photographs of all the children killed.

We shall be grateful for ideas towards some positive step.
