INDIA NEEDS TO COME OUT OPENLY AND BRAVELY AGAINST ISLAMIC TERRORISM THAT HAS ALREADY COST HER AN ARM AND A LEG.
THERE IS NO PLACE OF NON COMMITTED NEUTRALITY AND OVER CAUTION NOW. Not to show up bravely in time of war when bombs are exploding, building, banks, synagogues and consulates are being turned into rubble and when no one is safe anywhere, one has to choose the side and seem COMMITTED.
Since we are Indian by birth, we can only give the examples from there.
For DECADES the Indian intelligentsia has remained frustrated over the bogus "neutrality" of their country during cold war years.
India today is in three fragments with the HINDUS wiped out in the West (Pakistan) and being severely persecuted in the East (Bangladesh).
Our noble and gentle "Lady India" offered her front to the USA and her back to the SOVIET UNION. She was proud of her neutrality, non alignment and morality, and boasted of the apostle of peace, "Mahatma" Gandhi, who was the biggest Islam appeaser of our history.
To us and TO THE WORLD it was cowardice, dishonesty and lack of decision.
Today that land, 85% Hindu, has a MUSLIM (Abdul Kalam) President and a CATHOLIC (Sonia Gandhi) Leader of Opposition in Parliament, waiting to grab power any time. The Hindu at the top is ELIMINATED.
The result is that this India has no tongue and guts left to declare herself openly on the side of Secularism and Democracy, or to join the Anti Terrorism Coaliton in Iraq or Afghanistan. The Muslims within her will not let her squeak.
The world will know that India took DECADES before even looking at Israel.
The world will know that India votes at UNO and Security Council exactly as the PLO does.
The world will know that India cannot guarantee the safety of an Israeli football team in any of her cities, nor encourage tourism between the two countries.
The world will know that broadcasting is still owned, directed, controlled and misused by Government of India who also refuse to grant the petty concession of dual nationality to the Indians living abroad for FEAR that more Indians living overseas visiting home will mean raising the awareness of the "coolie" nation that would then demand closer contacts with Israel, free flow of information, low taxes on computers and Internet, and better EDUCATION for all.
The world will know that since "independence" India has been either RULED or INTIMIDATED by only one party and one dynasty that came down from Jawaharlal Nehru to his daughter Indira Gandhi, to her son Rajiv Gandhi and, as many fear, will go down to Sonia Gandhi and later to her daughter Priyenka Gandhi. The Indians are brainwashed and conditioned to call it democracy.
That then is the liberty and freedom of 85 % of the population of India, the HINDUS, who did not mind the non alignment of their country through the decades gone by, and the decades and lives WASTED.
