POLLUTED SIKH POLITICS IN SOUTH KASHMIR AND EAST PUNJAB
THE QUESTON MUST BE ASKED, HOW MUCH OF A SIKH HAND WAS THERE IN THE LOSS OF WEST PUNJAB AND NORTH KASHMIR?
THAT THEN WAS THE STARTING POINT OF DAY ONE OF "INDEPENDENCE AFTER PARTITION".
EVER SINCE, BOTH THE EVENTS AND THE HISTORY OF INDIA ARE IN THE HANDS OF NEITHER THE SIKHS NOR THE HINDUS.
THE FOLLOWING IS CONTRIBUTED BY A HINDU PATRIOT FROM SOUTH KASHMIR AND WE REGRET TO SAY THAT HE DOES NOT FEEL SAFE AND SECURE TO LIVE IN THE LAND OF HIS ANCESTORS.
JUST A BRIEF COMMENT: THE SIKH GENERAL WHO WISHED TO BLOW UP A MOSQUE IN SRINAGAR MIGHT HAVE BEEN "INSPIRED" TO DO SO RECALLING THE FATE OF GOLDEN TEMPLE AT THE HANDS OF AHMED SHAH ABDALI AND OF SRI RAM TEMPLE IN AYODHYA AT THE HANDS OF MAHMUD GHAZNI. BOTH THE MUSLIM INVASIONS PRECEDED THE SIKH SPIRIT OF RETALIATION. SINCE THE HINDUS WERE LEFT WITH NO SPIRIT OF RETALIATION, WE NOT ONLY SURRENDERED ONE THIRD OF INDIAN TERRITORY TO ISLAM IN 1947 AND LOST NORTH KASHMIR TO THE BARBARIANS, BUT ALSO SAW THE WHOLESALE EXPULSION OF THE HINDUS FROM SOUTH KASHMIR.
PLEASE READ ON. THERE IS PLENTY TO REFLECT AND COMMENT ON BY BOTH THE HINDUS AND THE SIKHS.
The fact remains Sikhs worldwide have earned a bad name and built up low image.
(This sentence must be music to ABDUL KALAM and all his Muslim nation in LOHORE, KARACHI AND DHAKA who took away huge slices of India and yet remain in good books with the Indians, enjoying a higher image than the Sikhs. Perhaps the CRUDE MIGHT, SWORD and TERROR of Islam gives them a higher image. This leads to some Sikhs to demand Khalistan so that they, too, could fly their flag at par with the one of sovereign EAST Bengal in New Delhi. Indian politics is not only murky or dark but totally opaque, being in NON Hindu hands.))
However one can not ignore Sikh contributions even under the present times though they may be few honourable exceptions.
The entire credit for the control of Sikh terrorism in Punjab goes to one single bold Police Officer Sardar K.P.S.Gill. Time and again he offered his services to J&K State.Had the Government of India and the State government accepted the sincere offer of this Sikh officer insurgency in Kashmir would have lost all its force.
(It is very significant to note that "time and time againg KPS GILL offered his services to sort out the terrorism in Kashmir but he was refused. WHY? Because the Muslims do not wish to be shot at a KAFIR. They delight in KILLING, HACKING, BLEEDING and BEHEADING the Hindus. The entire Will of the Hindu nation could not get that Srinagar posting to KPS GILL. We need to know the reason.
Some Sikhs are also entitled to ask, "Why did Indira Gandhi RETURN East Bengal to Islam while treating East Punjab so harshly? Again the reason is that she was IN FACT Indira KHAN and did not wish to see Islamic EAST BENGAL brought back to HINDU India. The Hindu nation was too demoralised to challenge this female AGENT OF ISLAM against her HIGH TREASON and BETRAYAL of Secularism. The Hindu nation is still too timid even to ask.)
You know it better that Sikh rule succeeded the Afghan rule in Kashmir. What Sir Francis Younghusband noted in Kashmir is stated here :
The Sikhs were not so barbarically cruel,but were hard and tough masters. A virulant anti-Muslim communalism marked the policies of the Sikh dispensation. They gave the Muslims a taste of what is meant to be on the receiving end of bigotry. The Jama Masjid in Srinagar was shut down and the aazaan was forbidden. One over enthusiastic Sikh Commander namely Phula Sing, actually trained his guns on the mosque of revered Shah Hamadan; he wanted to blow it up on the plea that it was contructed forcibly on a famed Hindu Shrine.It was oly the last minute intervention of Pandit Birbal Dhar which prevented the outrage.
Numeerrous mosques were seized by the state;cow slaughter was made a crime punishable by death; and for good measure,a number of butchers were publicly hanged to display the intent.
Younghusband refers to old days. In 1980's many Kashmiri Sikhs were found collecting money from wealthy Kashmiri Muslims to be offered to the Sikh terrorists in Punjab.At Id festivals chaddars were spread and even extremely poor Muslim beggers would throw the coins.At times the slogan (Sikh aur Muslim bai bai- Hindu qum kahan say Aayi) was heard in some villages where Sikhs felt insecure.
In the fag end of 1989 a Sikh leader (name withheld) suddenly made his secret appearance at Gurdawara Chattipadshahi in Srinagar along with 12 armed Sikh boys. He had approached leaders of many local terrorist outfits for talks on the future of the Kashmiri Sikh community. Only few responded." We have one common enemy which is India. We are fighting against that enemy for more than a decade. You are doing it now. It is time that you must promise the Sikhs of Punjab that even a single Sikh in the valley should be harmed.Besides their property should remain safe, If you do otherwise you will do it at your peril. It will encourage our common oppressor." The Sikh leader left with this message. No assurance was given. We shall think over your prayer was the answer.
What made Ghulab Singh to purchase Kashmir for just 75 lakhs.He became as British puppet.Viscount Hardinge,recalling the events of 1846. It was necessary to weaken the Sikhs by depriving them of Kashmir.It was Ghulab Singh's decisive to the British during the nationalist revolt,when his troops fought against the Indians in the siege of Delhi in1848 that made the Dogras a favourite of the British .
The Sikhs freely move about in Kashmir. Very few Sikhs migrated.Very few Sikhs who stayed back were killed. But they lost some girls and women. who were abducted and converted. Sikhs hide this fact. (The Sikhs should have studied Koran and the life and misdeeds of MOHAMMED to draw the conclusion about their wives, daughters and sisters. But WHO in Bharat learns any lesson from history?)

Secularism to be valid in Delhi MUST BE imposed in Lahore. The POLITICAL status of East PUNJAB must be the same, if not higher, that that of East BENGAL.
The "shaan" and glory of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodha is NO business of the Muslims or Partitioned India. In fact when the Hindu nationis STRONG, they will ask fearlessly, "What are the Muslims doing in PARTITIONED India since 1947?"
