Sir- I was surprised at your leading article (November 10) suggesting that George Bush was “lukewarm” about reforms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We felt delighted at what we saw as the endorsement of the continuing evolution of our government.
I was also astonished that you felt that America was re-assessing its relations with the kingdom and that Britain should do so, too.
You suggest incorrectly that Saudi Arabia is both corrupt and repressive and that has created Al Qaida. Was it “ corruption and repression” by the British that created the IRA?
Have your “friends”- and I would include Saudi Arabia among them- reassessed their relationship with you whenever you have faced the battle?
You recall the relationship forged by Franklin Roosevelt and the King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud near the end of the Second World War. Perhaps you should also remember the relationship forged by Winston Churchill with King Abdul Aziz at that time, and how the Kingdom’s newly discovered oil resources played a significant part in the Allied war effort.
We are now engaged in our own terrible war against an evil cult. Sadly for us, the leader of that cult was born in Kingdom and he is a Muslim- though his interpretation of Islam is twisted beyond recognition for the vast majority of Muslims, who consider killing the innocent a mortal sin. Most of those killed on Saturday were women and children, and our hearts go out to their families at this terrible time.
We call on the world community to unite with us in fighting this evil cult whose aim is to destroy us and our relationship with the West.

Dear Ambassador, We wish to make three points as follows:
1. Islam itself is nothing else but cult. It did not need to be even born. But since now it is a sad fact of life, it needs reforming badly. The sooner the better for the whole world and particularly for Saudi Arabia and the entire Muslim world.
2. When India was HELD DOWN by an Imperial Power to be “raped” for the birth of a BASTARD State called PAKISTAN, a similar heart rending appeal, such as yours, was uttered by all the INDIAN PATRIOTS who wished to see their land emerge into INDEPENDENCE and UNITY on August 15, 1947. The world was DEAF then. The WORST news for you now is that the world will remain DEAF to your pleas, cries and appeals, too. FATE and DESTINY will see the same SWORD OF ISLAM now BEHEAD you lot who claim to be the “custodians of Islam’s Holy Places” but have created a regime from which your own FREE THINKING LIBERAL and liberated children are barred. You are right to say that Osama Bin Laden was the SON OF SOIL.
3. Stop sending your petro dollars around the world to destabilise the free and secular world, especially BROKEN BHARAT (Partitioned India) that is incapable of resisting INDIGENOUS (home grown poisonous weed of) Islam and has appointed an ABDUL KALAM (a MUSLIM) as its “Rashtrapati” to accelerate the process of its own further DEMISE.
THE FIRST GOAL OF THE WORLD OF ISLAM, LED BY SAUDI ARABIA, OUGHT TO BE FULL RECOGNITION OF STATE OF ISRAEL.
THE MUSLIMS ON EARTH HAVE NEVER SUFFERED SO MUCH ATROCITIES, MURDER, RAPE, PLUNDER AND ARSON AS THE JEWS THROUGH CENTURIES. THE JEWS NEED TO BE LEFT ALONE AT LAST.
