We reproduce below the letter published in "The Daily Telegraph," London, on February 20, 2003.
It is written by a Muslim MEP (Member of European Parliament).
As you can see, it raises more doubts about his own suitability for his secular & impartial high office than answers any question about the global Islamic terrorism he refers to.
His views also show his betrayal of his constituents' trust. They were not told that the man they were electing was a Mohammedan to the core with more sympathies to Palestine than his own land of birth, INDIA.
To start with, he forgets that behind the "more than a million people" that he joined in that anti war march in London, there was a silent majority of at least THIRTY MILLION other Britons who did not join the pacifists and defeatists of that "Chamberlain lobby", augmented by thousands of the neo Gandhians in this country (UK) who chant round the clock "peace at all cost".
Many of the marchers were Muslim, who left their own inhuman Islamic republics (ask any woman and non Muslim living there) to land on these shores as economic beggars, then promptly took native females to increase numbers to support every Muslim cause, including global terrorism, at home and abroad.
It was Europe's generosity to let them in, now payng back with vengeance!
The surname of the pro Palestinian MEP is KHANBHAI. That is revealing!
The man is from Gujarat, INDIA, that was partitioned due to Islamic onslaught in 1947. That's where they call, and innocently regard, everyone a "bhai"
Is it typical of a Muslim from PARTITIONED India that his heart cries out for the Palestinians but not for the 15 million Hindu and Sikh refugees who were forcibly ousted from the newly created Pakistan in 1947 when subjected to the most brutal ethnic cleansing by the Muslims who were their fellow Indians till then?
Mr. Khanbhai, the MEP, does not seem to share their agony over their loss of lives, homes and places of worship.
In fact, his surname Khanbhai shows the gentle civilisation that is India where Mr. Khanbhai embraced Islam. Even after he deserted his native religion, the Hindus around him went on calling him "bhai" (brother). Hence Khan became Khanbhai.
In the same noble manner, a Hindu woman is called "ben" (sister), even "devi" (goddess). Thus the name Gita becomes Gitaben. Only if Mr. Khanbhai, now "burning in the fire of his love for Palestine", knew the beauty, charm and high morality of his own native land of birth. But the inferiority complex smitten native Indian dumped it all to become a KHAN like Akbar Khan, Saleem Ali Khan, Ameer Khan, Sikandar Hayat Khan and the biggest murderer of them all, Changez KHAN.
The Indian Muslims are twice wicked and cursed. Firstly by renouncing their own NATIVE religions, calling Arabia their spiritual "mother"; and secondly by championing the ALIEN Palestinian cause while dumping their own.
Their own cause is to "MAKE WHAT THEY BROKE," that is the unity of India. Let them work towards AKHAND BHARAT instead of Akhand Palestine.
While the Hindus have remained apolitical due to crippling conditioning by slavery over centuries and brainwashing by Mahatma Gandhi over decades, the onus of uniting India and putting Karachi, Delhi and Dhaka under ONE flag rests with the likes of Bashir Khanbhai.
We only hope that while his religion is from Arabia, his wife is not from Italy.
Here is the letter by Mr. Bashir Khanbhai to "The Daily Telegraph", London:
Sir, Last weekend I joined the march in London of more than a million people who are convinced that war in Iraq is unfair, unwarranted and unacceptable.
British people are not persuaded that Iraq is linked to al-Qaida and is suddenly a threat to Britain. They reject the Bush -Blair argument that UN approval is not necessary to wage war on Iraq and they fear that Tony 's Blair's blind support of George Bush's war will make them responsible for the death of millions of innocent Iraqi civilians.
The UN approved the war against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan to destroy terrorist cells and "restore" democracy. Mr. Bush issued a death warrant on bin Laden. Neither the might of the American military nor the billions of dollars spent produced any result. The Afghan war has neither established "democracy" and human rights nor eliminated terrorism. So what do they hope that was against Iraq will achieve?
The root of Islamic terrorism is in fact to be found in Palestine (Comment, Feb 17). The injustice of the continued Israeli occupation of Palestine is a fire that burns in the heart of every Muslim. Palestinians have lost their homes, livelihood and dignity as a result of Israel's illegal occupation. This is the fire that drives desperate people to attack, fight, maim and kill.
Peace, not war is what people want. Disarming Iraq is essential but without a just settlement in Palestine we will not eliminate terrorism, No one will live in an atmosphere of fear. We must have courage, conviction and commitment to root out the humiliation which generates fury and the will to terrorise. Bashir Khanbhai, MEP (Con), Brussels.

Sir,
I refer to the letter by Mr. Bashir Khanbhai, MEP (CON) published in The Daily Telegraph, today, February 20, 2003, in which he says, "The injustice of the continued Israeli occupation of Palestine is a fire that burns in the heart of every Muslim." (sic).
Isn't this the root cause of terrorism on globe, the jaundiced eye of every Muslims, even of an MEP, who holds a secular office in Brussels, to claim to speak of the "fire in the heart of every Muslim?"
For his information the Indian Muslims, on acquiring their Pakistan in 1947 without a referendum or debate, proceeded to do complete ethnic cleansing of the non-Muslims in West Punjab and elsewhere.
Nearly a million Hindus and Sikhs were killed within weeks in cold blood, and some fifteen million became refugees. I was one of them. When did Mr. Khanbhai ever care to notice the fire in my heart, or hear of a "Hindu refugee" from West Punjab and North Kashmir?
While the non-Muslims, by and large, loathe mentioning RELIGION in every debate and argument, it seems, according to Mr. Khanbhai, "every Muslim" is hooked on to it.
If he is happy with forty-two ISLAMIC republics on earth then he might find a little peace of mind with one tiny Jewish Sate called Israel. Wouldn't that be fair?

BUT IN TODAY'S HINDUSTAN THE SIKH CHIEF MINISTER OF EAST PUNJAB RULES HIS STATE FROM UNION TERRITORY, AND THE PRESIDENT OF HINDUSTAN IS A MOHAMMEDAN. IN REALITY MOHAMMED ABDUL KALAM KHAN IS A PERSONA NON GRATA. THE COMBINED MIGHT AND PATRIOTISM OF THE ONE BILLION STRONG HINDU NATION WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE KICKED HIM OUT TO HIS HOMELAND IN 1947 ALONG WITH HIS KORAN AND KALAM.
