THE FOLLOWING MAIL IS A PAINFUL REMINDER OF INDIA'S TRAGEDY. THE COUNTRY HAS BEEN HIJACKED BY MUSLIMS AND ITALIANS AND OUR CHILDREN ARE GOING BEGGING.
THE FOLLOWING NEWS ITEM OUGHT TO HAVE TOUCHED THE HEART AND MIND OF THE CHIEF MINISTER OF EAST PUNJAB. BUT THE ONE WHO IS THE HEAD OF THE COMMUNITY AND THE STATE OF PUNJAB, AS MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH WAS ONCE, IS BEING TREATED LIKE A "BHANGI" BY HIS PARTY PRESIDENT.
NOT ONCE HAS THE ITALIAN BORN BRAT OR THE PAKISTANI ABDUL KALAM ENCOURAGED HIM TO MOVE HIS UNION TERRITORY TO EAST PUNJAB FOR THE SAKE OF HIS DIGNITY.
HENCE SUCH ISSUES LIKE THE DISGRACE OF SIKHS AT HOME AND ABROAD HAVE GONE TO DOGS. NOR HAVE THE SIKH LEADERS THEMSELVES, BUSY IN "AKHAND PATHS" AND "LANGAR SEWA" AND "NISHKAM SEWA" ANY TIME OR INTEREST IN SUCH ISSUES.
WHOEVER THOUGHT THAT THE DAY WILL COME WHEN SIKH CHILDREN WILL BE CONSIGNED TO "CARE HOMES" IN THE U.K., EVEN TO MUSLIM HOMES FOR THEIR UPBRINGING, SHOULD NO SIKH FAMILY BE FORTHCOMING TO ADOPT THEM?
THE FOLLOWERS OF GURU NANAK AND GURU GOBIND SINGH JI NOW STAND IN LINE WITH THE AFRICANS AND THE MOHAMMEDANS IN THE U.K. JUST AS MOHAMMED IS AT PAR WITH THE NATIVE GURUS EVEN IN EAST PUNJAB AFTER PARTITION.

There has become a need for more members of the Sikh Community of the UK to come forward and adopt Sikh children that are put into Care homes.
Currently there are 10,000 children in care (ie in children's homes) in the UK and a significant and increasing proportion of these children are from Sikh homes. Children can end up in care for many reasons: parents' marriage breaks up, parents become unfit (mentally or physically) to care for their offspring, illegitimacy, abuse (physical or sexual), disability or handicap and refugees.
In the 1960s, black children were the problem group who could not be placed in adoptive homes, now it is the Sikh children who are more likely to be 'left on the shelf' as other children are selected for adoption. There are many reasons for this reluctance of Sikh families to come forward as 'permanent fosterers'. Traditionally there has been a stigma attached to break up of families and to problem children. The Sikh community need to be more assertive and promote adoption as means of giving these children a better upbringing than left in care homes. Usually these Care homes will if no adequate Sikh family (which is the majority of cases) can be found. Will give these children to Muslim, Hindu and Christian families to be given a fair chance in life.
Sikh families can do their seva by taking a Sikh child and giving it a loving home and a Sikh upbringing. Rather worry about social stigma. Contact your local authorities i.e your local council or other registered adoption agencies if you want to make difference in one of many of the abandon Sikh children living in care. IF THE SIKHS COULD GET BACK ALL THE MONEY THAT THEY HAVE DONATED TO BOFORS CHOR FOUNDATI0N, INDIRA KHANUM FOUDNATION, JENAB JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU FOUNDATION, TERESA ASHRAMS, THE RED CROSS, EVEN LM SINGHVI'S VERY OWN "GURU TEGH BAHADUR FOUNDATION" IN LONDON, THEY COULD SET UP TWENTY "MATA GUJRI CARE HOMES" AND "ASHRAMS" WITH-FULL TIME STAFF, TO LOOK AFTER THE "LOST" CHILDREN OF THEIR OWN COMMUNITY IN ANY COUNTRY ON EARTH.
BUT ABOVE ALL, IF THE SIKH LEADERS HAD BRAINS AT PAR WITH ABDUL KALAM'S AND SONIA KHAN'S . . . . . .
