1947, the year of Patition of India, brings sad memories to my mind. Many innocent people were killed during the Partition and many families were destroyed. I suggest that the names of all those who were killed, or who otherwise lost their lives due to, or during Partition, be listed. The first name on that list ought, undoubtedly, to be that of Shaheed S.Nanak Singh of Multan who was assassinated on March 5, 1947, after he had given a rousing call at a big public rally, to maintain the unity of India at all costs. I request all the survivors of that haulocast to list the names of all those who were killed and massacred in that communal violence during 1947. One page should be dedicated to them.
